Palm Pixi Is One Smart Phone
Those who have been dreaming about the Palm Pre but could not afford its price should look at other options. On top of the list is the Palm Pixi phone, which will take you to the world of smartphones at a cheaper price.
The Palm Pixi phone is a thin and light phone at 100 grams and a measurement of 55×111×10.85mm. It has a 2.63-inch multi touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels. This is obviously smaller than the 3.5-inch screen of the Apple iPhone and the 3.1-inch screen of the Palm Pre.
The sharp and crisp screen display and the lower price of the Palm Pixi phone however makes up for the smaller screen size. It is matched by a small QWERTY keyboard just below the screen.
The Palm Pixi phone is expected to be in demand among guys and gals with smaller hands that can be comfortable with the small buttons on the keyboard. The phone comes with a 2.0 megapixel digital camera lens at the back.
While the size of the screen and the keyboards can be excused, there is however no excuse for a smartphone without WiFi connection. The camera feature also seems a bit useless considering that the phone does not come with a microSD card support. But if you’re not keen on taking digital photos then the 8GB internal memory will suffice.
